Design Indaba FilmFestival goes nationwide in 2016

In a few short weeks the annual Design Indaba FilmFest kicks off to delight audiences with another stellar 10-day line-up of highly curated feature films and documentaries on creativity and design. These powerful and exciting films are South African premieres and some will be screened for one night only!

Design Indaba FilmFestival goes nationwide in 2016

All the films have been picked for their varied takes on architecture, urban design, fashion, photography, street and performance art, and motion graphics. So whether you are a design devotee or have a more casual interest in creativity there's something for you.

This year, your cinematic boost of creativity will not only be hosted at The Labia in Cape Town, but you'll have the opportunity to catch a selection of the lineup distributed across venues in Johannesburg, Durban, Potchefstroom and Port Elizabeth as well.

Design Indaba FilmFest provides an opportunity to interact with like-minded creative individuals, to network and discuss ideas in a convivial, relaxed environment.

Cape Town (The Labia on Orange): 11-20 February
Durban (Beerhall Contemporary Gallery): 11-13 February
Johannesburg (The Bioscope Theatre): 17-19 February
Port Elizabeth (The Athenaeum's Ford Little Theatre): 17 to 19 February
Potchefstroom (NWU's Conservatorium for Music): 17-19 February
