The 2009 Breathing Space calendar, sponsored by 1st for Women Insurance Brokers, features 12 inspirational images of the South African landscape, and is bagged with the December issue of O.

“We hope our calendar will not only give people a breathing space in their office or home, but also encourage them to go out and experience the beauty of our country, and then share that with everyone.”
Readers are encouraged to upload their nature pictures to the Breathing Space website (www.obreathingspace.co.za). Each month a winner will receive a luxury weekend getaway. The pictures loaded to the site will be considered for the 2010 O Breathing Space calendar.
Readers will also be able to download an electronic version of the 2009 calendar from January 2009. The interactive calendar will be updated regularly and alert readers to upcoming O events and special promotions.
“This project is the first online venture for O magazine South Africa,” adds Page. “The electronic calendar will allow us to publish event notifications directly to our readers' desktops. We are excited about this campaign, since we are breaking the online ground in a way that encourages a creative interaction with our readers.”
