F5's application delivery platform encompasses hardware, software, and virtual solutions that help organisations address the relentless growth of voice-, data-, and video traffic to better support mobile workers and applications - in the data centre, the network, and the cloud.

F5's extensible Synthesis architecture provides application optimisation, protection for applications and the network, and overall enhanced application reliability. The company was founded in 1996 and has assumed a leadership position in its field.

Networks Unlimited will offer F5's extremely comprehensive product set, which will ensure end-to-end solutions across an entire network.

"We are very pleased to be partnering with F5 and to be able to provide our partners and clients in South- and sub-Saharan Africa with an opportunity to seamlessly scale cloud, data centre, and software defined networking (SDN) deployments, which in turn will result in successful application delivery without limitations," says Anton Jacobsz, MD of Networks Unlimited.

"F5 Networks sees opportunity in South and sub-Saharan Africa, and distributors like Networks Unlimited will be vital in bringing further agility and scale to our distribution landscape. Through this dynamic collaboration, we have markedly improved our regional ability to deliver solutions for Application Delivery Controllers, security solutions, cloud solutions, and Software Defined Applications Services. We look forward to shared success as we help our partners and customers innovate and optimise performance through tackling pressing challenges such as cloud enablement, as well as the security and mobility of devices, networks and applications," adds Tim Hearn, Channel Director, UK, Ireland & Sub Saharan Africa, F5 Networks.
