Mandela had an interest in and appreciation for agriculture. Under his leadership, the Rural Safety Summit was held where an agreement was reached on a strategy for promoting rural safety. With his support, the Agri Securitas Trust Fund was created which continues to provide farming communities with financial assistance to improve their own safety.
"Mr Mandela's legacy serves as a worthy example and inspiration for leaders in civil society and the political environment. He not only worked for a free society, but also regularly reminded us of the responsibility that accompanies freedom," said Möller. I can rest only for a moment, for with freedom, comes responsibilities, and I dare not to linger, for my long walk is not yet ended," quotes Möller.
