    Willcock resigns from Mediamark

Graham Willcock, who has occupied the position of MD of the Mediamark group of companies radmark, digitalmark, tvmark and qmark for the past three years, has announced he will be leaving later this month to pursue new opportunities. Jerry Singh, the group's financial director, will act as MD until a replacement is found.

The board of directors, which has received and accepted the resignation complimented him on the successful transformation of the exclusive radio sales house into a diverse operation with internet, research and TV capacity. The current chair, Andrew Manderstam, comments "His contribution to the company has been highly constructive. He leaves it well prepared to meet the new challenges of the digital age and should be congratulated on a mission well accomplished."

Murphy Morobe, CEO of Kagiso Media, which is the joint owner of Mediamark, together with the French Lagardere Group, adds "Willcock has done a great job over the past three years with the restructuring strategy at Radmark and has achieved what he set out to accomplish through solid principle based leadership and a clearly articulated vision."

Under his leadership, the group participated in the Deloitte 'Best company to work for' survey, achieving a standard of excellence award. For the past two years, Radmark was the winner of the Most Awards in the radio category, rated second overall across all media sales teams.
