SAB's Flying Fish is airborne

South African Breweries will launch Flying Fish, its first locally produced premium flavoured beer, at an exclusive event at Randlords in Johannesburg on 4-5 October 2013. Aimed at young adults, the flavours of lemon and orange are intended to provide a unique and refreshing taste experience perfect for that 'chilled occasion.'

"We are extremely proud to be launching Flying Fish into the South African market space. Following extensive research, testing various flavours and trialling recipes, we believe that we have a winning product that appeals to all South African consumers, whether they are existing beer drinkers or not," said SAB market development manager global brands, Hilary Jamieson.

The media, celebrity and consumer launch will have a 'Beach in the Sky' theme aimed at giving guests an experience of a fun, beach, summer lifestyle, because "who says a beach can't be on a rooftop?" A top entertainment line-up has been carefully chosen to set the theme of the event and will include Black Motion, Nandi Ngoma, DJ Waras, Sizwe Dhlomo, DJ Naves & Spechtacula. Minnie Dlamini and Mo Flava are the chosen MCs for the event.

"The Flying Fish brand team believes that life is all about new experiences, seizing opportunities and doing things differently and we are excited to offer just this," concludes Jamieson.

Flying Fish is available at all leading licensed liquor outlets countrywide in 330ml NRB. For more information, follow on Twitter @flyingfishsa and Facebook www.facebook.com/flyingfishsa.
