Upload designs to VISI via iPhone app

VISI magazine is launching its own iPhone app to encourage designers and design-lovers to upload images of great design directly onto the website and contribute to South Africa's exciting and accessible design mood board.

Users can also log onto the site and register to upload via a PC.

The magazine, with its focus on contemporary South African décor, design and architecture has been an industry leader in magazine design and now it is bringing the same pioneering spirit to the digital arena with VISI Covet, its design social network.

This is an open invitation to the design community to share the designs they have created, those they have spotted and especially those that they covet, with others. It will be of interest to designers seeking to generate coverage and exposure for their new designs, bringing them the immediate attention and commentary from others in the community.

VISI editor, Jacquie Myburgh Chemaly of New Media, says that the website is an innovation in the field of décor and design publishing, harnessing the creative eyes of the VISI community.

"We are privileged to live in a time when media is no longer owned exclusively by the editorial team behind the scenes but by the readers and users as well. This is a brand with a loyal and passionate following and we are inviting them to join the community and shape the direction of www.visi.co.za."
