Weekly inserts introduce, encourage Hansa Next Beeg Dreamer competition

In support of its Next Beeg Dreamer competition, Hansa has collaborated with Urban Brew Studios to produce a series of weekly inserts explaining the campaign. The studio will produce six inserts of 2'30" each - longer than a traditional advert - which will air weekly on SABC 1 during Generations from mid-July 2012.

"The inserts explain the campaign as a whole and also introduces the Dream Fund that the brand has created to turn people's ideas into reality, "said South African Breweries marketing manager Kelebogile Mashigo, who is also one of the judges. The other judges, who will be introduced in an upcoming insert, are musician and producer Zakes Bantwini, entrepreneur and brand expert Thebe Ikalafeng and former Miss South Africa, Augustine Masilela.

Presenting the inserts is well-known television presenter Sydney Matlhaku, known for presenting travel magazine programme Sho't Left and Man Made Marvels, currently airing on SABC 2.

"The main purpose of the inserts is to drive entries and get the public excited about the campaign while giving information to assist the public in entering their ideas," Mashigo said.

The winner of the campaign will be revealed in the last insert on 20 September 2012 and the public introduced to his or her idea.

The first dream, belonging to Khanyisa Mantini, was fulfilled in Mdantsane on Thursday, 19 July when a community garden was planted.
